AKG P120 Professional Condenser Studio Microphone

AKG P120 Professional Condenser Studio Microphone Highlights

• Versatile Condenser Microphone: The AKG P120 is a versatile condenser microphone designed for a wide range of studio recording applications. It excels at capturing vocals, acoustic instruments, and overheads with clarity and detail.
• Cardioid Polar Pattern: Featuring a cardioid polar pattern, this microphone effectively rejects sound from the sides and rear. This helps to minimize background noise and feedback, focusing on the primary sound source.
• Durable All-Metal Construction: Built with a robust all-metal chassis, the AKG P120 is designed for durability and longevity in demanding studio environments. Its solid construction ensures reliable performance over time.
• Switchable Attenuation Pad: Equipped with a switchable 20dB attenuation pad, the P120 can handle high sound pressure levels without distortion. This makes it suitable for recording loud sources like guitar amps or drums.
• Low-Cut Filter: A switchable low-cut filter at 300Hz helps to reduce unwanted low-frequency rumble or proximity effect. This can clean up recordings and improve overall clarity, especially for vocals.
• Requires Phantom Power: As a condenser microphone, the AKG P120 requires 48V phantom power to operate. This is typically supplied by a mixer, audio interface, or dedicated phantom power supply.
