AKG P120 Condenser Microphone

AKG P120 Condenser Microphone Highlights

• Versatile Condenser Microphone: The AKG P120 is a versatile condenser microphone suitable for a wide range of recording applications, including vocals, instruments, and overheads. Its cardioid polar pattern helps to minimize background noise and feedback.
• Durable All-Metal Casing: Built with a robust all-metal casing, the P120 is designed for durability and longevity in demanding studio or live environments. This construction also helps to shield the internal components from interference.
• Switchable Attenuation Pad: Features a switchable -20dB attenuation pad, allowing it to handle high sound pressure levels without distortion. This makes it ideal for recording loud sources like guitar amps or drums.
• Low-Cut Filter: Equipped with a switchable 80Hz bass cut filter to reduce low-frequency rumble and handling noise. This helps to clean up recordings and improve clarity, especially in untreated rooms.
• Requires Phantom Power: As a condenser microphone, the P120 requires 48V phantom power to operate. This is typically supplied by a mixing console, audio interface, or dedicated phantom power supply.
